Owned by Unilever, Rocket was launched to provide gourmet food to a commuter market, providing packs of precut and weighed ingredients, offering a different range each day.
Giant International created a mobile display and kitchen that could be easily assembled at London commuter stations which included dramatic graphics. Trained staff handed out fliers and enticed the consumer to sample that evening’s menu.
This was a tremendous success and was then rolled out to a wide variety of different venues
over a 3 month period.
Consequently the company officially rolled out its product, opening stores in all mainline
London stations and then in other specially selected venues.
Giant was approached by Peterborough City Council to devise a community campaign that couldbe 'Road-showed' around schools in Cambridgeshire to highlight the benefits of 'Child Safety'.
The equipment had to fit within a small van, easily installed inside a school within 1 hour, yet provided an 'Interactive Experience' for the children who were aged up to 12 years old.
The campaign was initially trialed in six schools and by popular demand was then run out into all the schools within the Council’s area. There were five areas
“Safety Challenge” - a game to encourage 'rights and wrongs' in safety
Home safety - including an under stairs fire
Road safety - the perils of road and traffic
Rail safety
Water safety
